Royal Zoute Golf Club aims to safeguard the security of your personal data. On 27 April 2016, the European Parliament adopted a new regulation in order to more effectively and consistently protect the personal data of individuals in the European Union. The ‘GDPR’ regulation comes into effect on 25 May 2018. The data controller Royal Zoute Golf Club, Sparrendreef 1A, 8300 Knokke-Heist, KBO/BCE 0694.681.237 (also referred to here as ‘RZGC’) intends to comply with the stricter requirements.

Royal Zoute Golf Club collects your personal data via the iGolf membership register:  Data is only recorded during the official registration. If you would like to receive more information about the RZGC, you can provide your data via e-mail or telephone.

Procedure for data collection and storage of personal data: 
-New members can be introduced by a member of the RZGC (min. 5 years’ membership) or at their own initiative.
-RZGC will invite you for an initial meeting and agreement.
-If you are accepted as a new member, you will be required to complete a form with your personal data and your ID card will be scanned into the iGolf system (affiliated with the Belgian Federation).

Purposes of the data collection:
-Providing targeted information about the RZGC (registrations, competitions,…).
-Sending newsletters.
-Organisation of events and competitions.
-Regular membership administration and billing.

The following data may be requested:
Members of RZGC:
Passport photo
First name
Surname
Birthplace & date
Nationality
Type of work
Address
Telephone number/mobile
Email address
Are you a member of another golf club? If so, name:
Handicap
2 sponsors who have been members of RZGC for at least 5 years.

Member of the Belgian Federation for booking a Green Fee:
Gender, name, federal number, golf handicap, home club, mobile number and e-mail.

Not a member of the Belgian Federation for booking a Green Fee:
Name, handicap, e-mail, telephone number.

Limited retention period: 
RZGC does not store personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or for which they were required by law.

Third parties:
We may provide the information you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the purposes described above.
For example, we use the services of a third party:
– iGolf software used for the membership administration and organisation of the competitions
– Taking care of the internet environment (web hosting);
– Providing IT infrastructure (including IT network, …);
– Providing (and distributing) newsletters and invitations.

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a Privacy-agreement.

You have the right to access, rectify or have your data deleted at any time. You also have the right to submit an objection to the transferability of the data.
